The last month I was working on a project called Sprachlos. Here you can get to the website and have a look. Sprachlos is a 55 minute long portmanteau film which is produced by MultiMediaArt students of the University of Applied Sciences in Salzburg. It’s separated in 3 episodes, every episode takes place in a different time (1945, 70’s and present) and the story of all these three is wrapped around one house in Salzburg (actually it’s not one, but in the film).
I did the on set recording for episode two and I was allowed to do all the score and soundtrack. This is awesome.
During the process of creating and composing the soundtrack, I produced a funk track, which I recorded with my friends Clara Hinterseer (Vocals), Michael “Sepp” Höflmayr (Trumpet) and Jochen Vasold (Saxophone). It is very groovy and I promise, you have to move if you hear it. Just listen to Keep on Rollin.
Here you can find a short video teaser, kind of a small making of the soundtrack or to be more precise, making of the funk track. Here you can watch the trailer. You can also find further information about the project at the work section and the hit the Sprachlos button
